An alumni of the Malay College Kuala Kangsar (MCKK), Omar Ariff graduated from the University of Tasmania, Australia with a degree in Commerce.

He began his career in the field of Human Resources in 1989 and had worked for several foreign multinationals such as Otis, Philips and Fujitsu. He was also employed by Kassim Chan Management Consultants as a HR Consultant. He left KLCC Group of Companies to establish OFA Synergy Sdn. Bhd. and currently serves as the Managing Director of the Company.
