Don't say a word...

Assalamualaikum...

In the wake of the technology era, more and more blogger come into life...
Each with own purpose and direction...
Some with no true direction...
Some with positive direction...
Some with negative direction or purpose...

There are some people who make use of the internet to spread accusations, terror, in order to create disharmony...

Recently, in Malaysia, there are such cases...
"Pig head" issue in Malacca...
Blogs that condemn Islam...
etc...

Who did this?

WE ARE NOT SURE...
So, Why don't we INVESTIGATE THOROUGHLY instead of accusing one another...
Malaysia is a peaceful country...
Appreciate what we have...
We should thank Allah for everything...

Just want to say that we shouldn't jump into conclusion quickly without investigating a case thoroughly...
In simpler words, don't just accuse people blindly...
Don't say a word that you're not sure with...

Assalamu'alaikum...

Kill or Be Killed...

Smoking
Drinking Alcoholic Beverages

Assalamu'alaikum...
Above are a two pleasurable, yet destructive things that I've managed to list down...
Well, at least pleasurable for some people...
Let's just go to the first one;
Smoking

According to wikipedia, "
The history of smoking can be dated to as early as 5000 BC"...
wow!! That's quite a long time ago...
No wonder the followers of the Smoking religion is everywhere!!

There are tonnes of health hazards caused by this activity...
You can kill yourself, people around you, your child-in the making, and the environment...
Worse than a serial killer?
Judge by yourself...

Now let's go to the second one which is Drinking Alcoholic Beverages...
Just like smoking, alcoholic beverages have a lot of harmful effects on our body..

According to British Crime Survey 2007-08, in nearly half (45%) of all violent incidents,
victims believed offenders to be under the influence of alcohol.

This figure rose to 58% in cases of attacks by people they did not know.
39% of domestic violence cases involve alcohol.

In nearly a million violent attacks in 2007-08, the aggressors were believed to be drunk...

Furthermore, there are countless numbers of accident involving drunk-driving...

Wow....it's a total killer eh?
But I wonder why people in charge still allow the manufacturing of this
Beverage of Mass Destruction...

I know these two Weapons of Mass Destruction give us (government) a lot of tax etc...
But why should we trade the harmony and well-being of people for money??
It's time for us to kill these two serial killers...

Kill or Be Killed...

Song with a soul...

Kelibat Korupsi
by One Buck Short

Betapa hebatnya kita membeli isu terkini
Fakir miskin terpedaya
Orang kaya semakin kaya
Bagaimana kita nak maju asyik mereka rembatkan
AP senang didapat
Projek besar diorang rembat

45 hitam biru mencari-cari tujuan
Aku dia kita mangsa
Hal kecil menjadi besar
Apa lagi yang kita semua perlu lakukan
Bangsa kita keluar malam
Maruah bangsa semakin curam

Ingat kita takut?!
Apa mengarut?!
Kita tunjukkan!
RAKYAT KE DEPAN!

Bertahun-tahun akan kita merasai sengsara
Peperangan tak sudah!
Cari harta mengambil tanah!
Walau sekarang kita hidup hidup dah cukup mudah
Tak cukup tamak harta
Cari makan mereka kata

Bak Kata
Cerita pendek
Kita harus
Kerja sama

Jaga jaga
Jaga nama
Kalau jatuh
Depa pijak

Kerja sama
Boleh maju
Jangan malas
Jangan tipu

Makan rasuah
Tikam belakang
Semua ini
Buat rosak

Tukar cara
Kita fikir
Baru hapus
KORUPSI!

Tukar cara
Kita fikir
Baru hapus
KORUPSI!

I've had enough of love songs and sex-promoting songs in the radio...
They make me sick...
Songs are supposed to have message in them. Message which able to touch the hearts and minds of listeners. Songs without message are merely noise. I've had enough of the noises in the world already. Why should we add more?

It seems that music can't be separated from human. Any kind of music. Therefore, it's fair to say that music is a powerful instrument to spread good message among human, especially the youth.

The above song is about corruption. The message is clear; people won't be fooled anymore by money-eating monsters who step on people heads to satisfy their never-satisfied hunger for money.
This song is meant to open up our mind. It's a nice song also.
There's Malaysian soul in it also (the song is in Malay language.)

Against The Belief (Part II)

Assalamualaikum...

This article is not directly related to the previous one, but still, there's a connection with the last one...

I just want to share my experience...
Nothing special...
I was in the car that day...
My mom (I call her Ummi) was driving to Malacca (her hometown)...
There was a van ahead of us...
I think there's one happy family in it...
There's brothers and sisters...
All of the sisters wear hijab...

Suddenly, I saw something flying out of the van, heading towards our car (Ummi's car, I don't have a car...Yet)...
I don't know what was it...
But I was very sure that they just threw out something...
My point is, littering is not a good behaviour!
The one who wore the hijab did it!
What on earth was she thinking?!
What will the non-Muslims think about Islam...
"Muslims are uncivillised, dirty, backwards etc"

Even I, myself was annoyed with that behaviour...(Not going to be my future wife, for sure...)

So, Brothers and Sisters, let's understand Islam and uphold the right image of Islam...

Remember, good akhlaq is one of the most effective way of Da'wah...

Against The Belief

Assalamualaikum...

Have you ever watch "Wanted" ?

Well, I have...
I like the movie...

The movie is full of unique, impossible, yet wonderful shooting actions...
Basically, it's about a group of "noble" assassins (by the name of Fraternity) who choose their targets by translating the secret code that's produced by a machine...
However, one guy (Morgan Freeman) betrayed that "sacred" belief after he found out that the machine start to produce the names of the Fraternity members!!!
He doesn't want to get killed, so he changes the names and try to kill a guy in Fraternity (the father of the hero) who had already realised his (Morgan Freeman's) betrayal.

Well, I'm not trying to tell you more about the movie itself, I'm just interested in sharing the message behind the movie...

From my point of view, I think the movie tries to imply that people who believe in irrational school of thought can go against that belief when they feel it doesn't suit their needs...

What is considered as irrational belief?
If you watch "House" you'll notice that Dr. House considers religion is one of them...

Well, from my point of view, religion is not irrational belief...
Specifically, Islam...
Islam can answer the question that science can't answer...
The question that our minds can't answer...
"Why are we here on earth?" or "What is the purpose of life?"
Science can answer "How?" but can't answer "Why?"

Back to the statement "people who believe in irrational school of thought can go against that belief when they feel it doesn't suit their needs..."
Let's ignore the word "irrational school of thought" and change it to religion...
So, the new statement is "people who believe in religion can go against that belief when they feel it doesn't suit their needs..."

This statement can only be true if a person hold on to a religion that is not a divine religion, in other word, man-made religion...
Why?

It's simply because a divine religion answers the questions that are beyond human mind's capability...

So, if the religion is man-made, how can it answers the questions?

Now, back to the statement again...
If a person hold on to a divine religion, will he/she go against that belief?
Yes, and No...
It's subjective...
It depends on how deep the person understands the religion itself...
Islam is the way of life...
There are rules and guidelines for interaction between humans (including economics, social and all aspects of life), interaction between human and nature, and so on...
If someone has done a research on these guidelines, he will find out that it's for the well-being of human...

Human has desire, which is normal...
Islam gives the guidelines for all the desires...
Islam doesn't go against human desire, but shows the best way to fulfill it so that there won't be bad consequences...
Go and do research on Islam...
It's a wonderful and peaceful religion...
It doesn't teach terrorism at all...
Understand the true Islam, for you will be living a peaceful life, here, and the hereafter...
