Motivation: The Winning Strategy...

Assalamu'alaikum...

It's been a while, people...

Too many assignments...
Time-consuming and energy-consuming...

Now, I want to talk about football...
Just to share my thoughts on one thing that made a big difference on Sunday's clash of the titans...
Yes, I'm talking about the Liverpool VS Manchester United match...
Which ended by Liverpool pleasing their home crowd with two goals to nothing....

As the title suggested, I'm going to talk about motivation...
Yes, you can argue that the referee sometimes protect Liverpool (or shall I say supported Liverpool?)
But that's the advantage of being the home side...
Let's not forget, Man United also got special treatment whenever they're playing at Old Trafford...

Liverpool went into the match losing 4 straight games...
Yes, 4 straight games...
It's their worst result in 22 years...
YES! 22 YEARS, PEOPLE!

Here are the results of that 4 matches:

Fiorentina 2:0 Liverpool
Chelsea 2:0 Liverpool
Sunderland 1:0 Liverpool
Liverpool 1:2 Lyon

Well, for the Sunderland VS Liverpool match, you can argue that the goal shouldn't have been allowed...
But the ref did allow the goal...
Thus, a loss is a loss...

So, going to the match with their worst record in 22 years, puts manager Rafa Benitez under pressure...
The game was a perfect turning point for him and his men...
They desperately needed that win against United...
And thankfully (to them) they did...

Manchester United also have some motivation...
Having lost home and away to Liverpool last season which included the 1-4 demolition on their own ground, Man United was up for a revenge...

But unfortunately, that was last season...
It seems that Liverpool has an extra edge on motivation this time around...
Like I said a few times before, WORST RECORD IN 22 YEARS!!!
(I just love to write things in capital letter. Forgive me for my bad habit)

How can that not be a great motivation?

The moral of the story is, in life, motivation can make a huge difference in whatever we do...

So,

Keep yourself motivated!

Disturbed...

Assalamu'alaikum...

Have you ever been disturbed in your sleep?
You're not sure whether it's a nightmare or something else...
I've...
And it's been happening since my secondary school...
until now...
which is why I'm writing right now...

The reason?
I don't know...
It normally happens when I sleep very late at night...
And I assume it's also because I didn't follow Rasulullah's (PBUH) sunnah in sleeping...
(I forgot to take wudhu' before sleep)
And it could also be because of my past sins...

Wallahua'lam...

I can't tell really whether it's a nightmare or the devil and the gang just having fun...

For those of you who never experience it, let me break it down for you...

You feel like it's so hard to get yourself up from sleep...
And it feels like something is holding you from waking up...
It's like a fight really...
It's so hard to even open your eyes...

So, after I managed to get up (Alhamdulillah),
I go straight away to the toilet and perform wudhu'...
And do some things that I believe need to be done...

I guess I mustn't forget to perform wudhu' each time before sleeping from now on...
Intensify Qur'an recitation and understanding...
And perhaps change my sleeping place...

Wallahua'lam...
