Undivided Love: Beyond International Boundary

Assalamu'alaikum...

This entry came up to my mind after my Haematology & Oncology class yesterday...
Dr. Tariq, the lecturer from Bangladesh (He's my favourite lecturer) shared his thoughts on two issues after class...

The first issue is the definition of "Illness" in his point of view...
The second one, which I want to talk about in this entry is about how Muslims should love every Muslims equally, regardless of the skin colour, nationality, socio-economic status etc...

As a typical human being, we are prone to be unjust in terms of our love and respect towards fellow Muslims...
For example, we tend to love and respect Muslims from higher socio-economic countries more such as UK and US compared to other nations such as Bangladesh, Myanmar etc...

Why?
They are the same; Our brothers and sisters in Islam who have the same 'aqidah...
Why should we practise double standard?
Because they are poorer?
Less educated (if that's what you think)?
Because they are immigrants in our country?
Low pay-job?

Dr. Tariq also said, maybe that's why our prayers and shoutings on Palestine's issue haven't been answered by Him...
Maybe our love and respect towards fellow Muslims haven't reach the gold standard yet...
Still incomplete...

What he said really opened up my mind...

What Makes Me Happy?

1) Women and men who cover their aurah perfectly...

2) Seeing more and more people convert to Islam...

3) Seeing more and more people trying to practise true Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah...

4) Being able to balance between this life and hereafter...

5) Seeing more and more people paying attention to the neverending Palestine issue...

6) Being loved by my brothers and sisters in Islam...

7) Seeing family institution in good shape again (hopefully)...

8) Seeing mass media make efforts to bring the community to His way...

9) Seeing every Muslim nation united...

10) Being in Jannah (Ameen!)...

Gadis Melayu...Again? God, Help Us!!!

Assalamu'alaikum...

Actually, I've no plan to write anything...
Until...Gadis Melayu programme is on air...
It made me so sick...
I don't have any word to describe my feelings right now...
"Disgust" is the closest one...Maybe...
"Stupid" is another word...
How can some people like this kind of programme?
Honestly, I'm upstairs right now...
Just try to run as far as I could from the TV...
That's why I'm writing this entry...

Malay girls being exploited for the sake of entertainment...
For what?
To fill the pocket of the producer and the TV company of course...
No offense, but please don't make ourselves look stupid by actually loving this programme...
This programme tarnishes the name of Islam...
No wonder there's Muslims who don't want Hudud...
Maybe they can't survive if Hudud is implemented...
No money to make, maybe...
I'm not saying I'm a good, perfect Muslim...
I'm just an ordinary Muslim who cares about my surrounding, somehow...

Wake up, people!
Our brothers and sisters in Palestine need us...

Narrated An-Nu'man bin Bashir: I heard Allah's Apostle saying, 'Both legal and illegal things are evident but in between them there are doubtful (suspicious) things and most of the people have no knowledge about them. So whoever saves himself from these suspicious things saves his religion and his honor. And whoever indulges in these suspicious things is like a shepherd who grazes (his animals) near the Hima (private pasture) of someone else and at any moment he is liable to get in it. (O people!) Beware! Every king has a Hima and the Hima of Allah on the earth is His illegal (forbidden) things. Beware!
