Online Identity VS Offline Identity...

Assalamu'alaikum...

Facebook, Yahoo Messenger, Blog...
These are popular media to express ourselves...
Just like what I'm doing at this very moment...

Are we the same person when we're online?
Or are we completely different when we're online?
You tell me...

Does this mean we have split identities?
Like Bruce Wayne and Batman?
Peter Parker and Spiderman?
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde?

While some people are just the same person on and offline, some are completely different...
Maybe because we feel that no one's watching when we're doing something online...

But the truth is, we're completely WRONG...
Well, apart from F.B.I. and C.I.A., we must also remember that Allah is
tapping our phone lines, server...
watching our every movement...
listening to our every heart beat...


Apart from that, our parents and even our prospective employer can easily google our name and see what we're doing on the net...

So, think gazillion times before we do something unIslamic, be it online or offline...
Let's use this Ramadhan to throw all of our bad habits and sins...
Be close to Al-Qur'an...

Maybe after purifying our mind, body and soul in Ramadhan, we'll have a true Muslim and Mu'min identity, both online and offline...

Ramadhan comes once in a year...
We never know whether we'll get to see the next Ramadhan...
So, make the most of our Ramadhan...
